Food for Thought: Food Manufacturing is More than having a Great Product

Finding and Listening to your customer, understanding competition, offering your product at the right price, being open to the market (even if it's not where originally thought), knowing your numbers and managing business are all parts of starting and growing a food-based business.   

Tammy Ogren PhD joins the Ennovation Kitchen Classroom as an instructor focused on helping class participants address their market, price in the marketplace, and building the analytical-strategy to manage effectively a food-based business. 

In 2014, Tammy opened a snack food manufacturing business, Spicy Guys…Pretzels with an Attitude, turning a family favorite snack food into a quickly growing business, currently in over 200 retail locations in five states.

Her passions and proven experience in evaluating concepts and strategies, creating and implementing efficient operational systems in accordance with measurable business goals and objectives, and leading others toward excellence have been repeatedly demonstrated through a proven-track record of successful organizational and marketing initiatives.

Joyce will share her expertise in Brand Differentiation and Positioning to help participants understand place and position in the marketplace. She will also lead the Sales Distribution course module which shares leading edge strategy to identify the sales needed to succeed and thrive.

The Ennovation Kitchen Classroom Series cohort is about to begin!  The first step for participants is understanding and thinking intelligently about the food business they are growing.    Pat Shore with Intelli-Think LLC provides facilitated, meaningful structure for innovative and intelligent thinking around the company's food-based business that results in actionable steps for improvement.   This helps launch key steps to knowing and understanding food product and building sound blocks upon which to grow.
